To enhance residents’ awareness of elevator safety and promote knowledge about safe elevator usage, Yiwu Construction Investment Group Binjiang Branch, in collaborating with KONE, the elevator company, recently organized a “Safe Elevator Usage in Communities” event at Yiwu Chouzhou Mansion Zone A, drawing participation from many middle-aged and elderly residents in the residential quarter.

Lou Jiaming, Section Chief from the Yiwu Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, and Zhong Chengrong, Director of Choucheng Subdistrict Administration for Market Regulation, were specially invited to the event to provide on-site supervision and guidance.

At the event, elevator experts gave a detailed explanation on safe elevator usage based on the actual renovation conditions in the residential quarter, highlighting precautions during the renovation period, emphasizing the damage caused by overloading and rough handling to elevators, and stressing the proper way to use elevator protective devices. They not only explained the daily elevator usage guidelines but also deepened residents’ understanding about the significance of elevator safety. Additionally, the event also featured an on-site Q&A session.
